I posted this a long time ago on BCR, then came the system crash (or attack) and it was gone. For the record:
In the following, excerpted from the book The Life of Colonel David Crockett (1884), compiled by Edward S. Ellis, the famous American frontiersman, war hero, and congressman from Tennessee relates how he learned — from one of his own backwoods constituents — the vital importance of heeding the Constitution and the dangers of disregarding its restraints.
Crockett was then the lion of Washington. I was a great admirer of his character, and, having several friends who were intimate with him, I found no difficulty in making his acquaintance. I was fascinated with him, and he seemed to take a fancy to me.
I was one day in the lobby of the House of Representatives when a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support, rather, as I thought, because it afforded the speakers a fine opportunity for display than from the necessity of convincing anybody, for it seemed to me that everybody favored it. The Speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose. Everybody expected, of course, that he was going to make one of his characteristic speeches in support of the bill. He commenced:
“Mr. Speaker — I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the sufferings of the living, if suffering there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for a part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has no power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money. Some eloquent appeals have been made to us upon the ground that it is a debt due the deceased. Mr. Speaker, the deceased lived long after the close of the war; he was in office to the day of his death, and I have never heard that the government was in arrears to him. This government can owe no debts but for services rendered, and at a stipulated price. If it is a debt, how much is it? Has it been audited, and the amount due ascertained? If it is a debt, this is not the place to present it for payment, or to have its merits examined. If it is a debt, we owe more than we can ever hope to pay, for we owe the widow of every soldier who fought in the War of 1812 precisely the same amount. There is a woman in my neighborhood, the widow of as gallant a man as ever shouldered a musket. He fell in battle. She is as good in every respect as this lady, and is as poor. She is earning her daily bread by her daily labor; but if I were to introduce a bill to appropriate five or ten thousand dollars for her benefit, I should be laughed at, and my bill would not get five votes in this House. There are thousands of widows in the country just such as the one I have spoken of, but we never hear of any of these large debts to them. Sir, this is no debt. The government did not owe it to the deceased when he was alive; it could not contract it after he died. I do not wish to be rude, but I must be plain. Every man in this House knows it is not a debt. We cannot, without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as a charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much of our own money as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.” (Read on …)
“I am just saying that we need to be honest about the fact that we are transferring from the United States at a practical level significant authority to a new organization. This is a transformational moment. I would feel better if the people who favor this would just be honest about the scale of change…. This is not just another trade agreement. This is adopting something which twice, once in the 1940s and once in the 1950s, the U.S. Congress rejected. I am not even saying that we should reject it; I, in fact, lean toward it. But I think we have to be very careful, because it is a very big transfer of power.”
– Congressman Newt Gingrich in testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee, before Congressional approval of US membership in the WTO in 1994.
Thank you Neocon Newt Nafta lapdog.
more newt stuff…
I recall Newt Gingrich and the other NeoCons taking over Congress. And look what they did. They sold out their country. Nafta, TRILLIONS in debt, and they let Clinton off the hook.
I hear old CFR Newt was thinking about taking the reins of the GOP. Heaven Help Us
Gingrich, recall, went to great lengths to stump for the Bush-Clinton NAFTA package so dearly sought by the Trilateral-CFR globalists. Like Dole, he is sold on foreign aid, multi-billion-dollar bailouts for Russia, and most favored nation privileges for the Chinese communists. Along with Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett he is out to make a kinder, gentler GOP. Said Gingrich at a Republican strategy conference several years ago: “We’re going to have to start talking, for example, about civil rights and affirmative action in ways that we haven’t before and that may offend some conservatives.” “We have to have a caring, humanitarian, reform Republican Party,” said Gingrich, “that accepts the burden of being a governing conservatism, not just an opposition conservatism.” That means supporting more federal programs, more federal civilrights laws, etc. even while denouncing the Democrats for the same.

I just do not understand Marsha Blackburn’s position on the Bailout. Although I commend her for not voting for the last Big bailout, excuse me, economic stimulus package, she has voted for so many UnConstitutional bills that I just loose count. She has voted BILLIONS in foreign aid, but will not vote for the Bailout. Marsha Blackburn, it is the same money (my money) that you want to give to the foreigners that you would vote to give for the bailout. Does she see a difference? Marsha Blackburn, It is not Yours to Give.
Well my friend, M.Armstrong, from North Carolina hits the nail on the head again. Enjoy:
The N.C. GOP is trying to figure out what happened on election day. Their Party chairman traveled to S.C. to meet with other state party chairmen, who are also in a stunned state. Actually, its more a state of denial and their published remarks further prove that GOP’s disease is probably incurable.
In North Carolina, Republicrats lost an incumbent US Senator, a US Congressman, a Council-of-State office, the Presidential race not to mention a Governor’s race and several legislative seats that they were expected to win. The party leaders say that it was ” a bad economy, deceptive ads by the opposition, and not enough cash”. This should be proof enough that the GOPers have lost, not only their basic moorings but also any conventional wisdom that they might have formerly had.
The Republicrats JUST DON’T GET IT ! There was no mention of the devastating eight years under George Bush, the expansion of corporate socialism, expanding internationalism including the un-Constitutional invasion and occupation of Iraq. They never mentioned the growing police-state apparatus, illegal immigration or the loss of jobs this state suffered from so-called free-trade agreements. The sad fact is they never saw it coming, they don’t know what hit them and they will probably never figure it out.
Conventional wisdom tells us that Congressman Robin Hayes, the only member of the US House delegation from N.C. to lose did so because he lied to his constituents and provided President Bush with the deciding vote for the CAFTA trade agreement … and from a district suffering from thousands of loss textile jobs. Even a bribe of millions to establish a bio-technical center in his district did not erase his treasonous act. Luckily, he lost his seat to someone who should be easily beaten in two years … if they have learned anything by then.
Queen Elizabeth lost her Senate seat for obvious reasons as well. For six years, she has been an inept senator known only for her steadfast support of President Bush and the Washington Insiders of whom she and her husband are life-time members. They assumed that her senate seat was an entitlement and that they could weather any storm. They just didn’t see the “perfect storm” coming into the state as an Obama Tidal Wave. There was already a building resentment for her absence from the state that she was supposedly representing. Again, the GOPers should have seen it coming but visibility isn’t good when the heads are in the sand. (I wrote to state GOP leaders two years ago telling them that unless they replaced Elizabeth, they could easily lose this seat. I’ve saved their answers)
First, there is the come-uppance, then the day of reckoning, a time of denial and then, hopefully, a day of new accountability. Something the GOPers failed to notice was actually happening before the last two general elections in which the Demagogues made such gains. Thousands of disillusioned Republicans were already switching their registration to Independent. Today, the independent voters in N.C. almost equal the registered Republicans and this enlarged body of conservatives were in no mood to rally behind John McCain even with Sarah Palin as window dressing.
So, the question is … Will the GOP survive and make a comeback or does this mark the beginning of the end for what used to be a conservative voice for the people? That question can only be answered with time but what is equally evident is that the conservative movement needs to work within and without both major parties. The death of the GOP, if it comes, does not have to be the death of the Conservative Movement. The Conservative Movement is a movement of motivated individualists. It doesn’t need centralized leadership and planning.

I guess since it was the two of the media’s three favorite groups they failed to report on this story. I love how the homosexuals want to be minorities then the minorities that want to not be called names call the homos names and the homos call them names. Where is the love? I can tell you that the love is only there when it works for the media. All other times NONE of this is ever reported.

Gays call blacks “niggers” at Proposition 8 marriage protest
One of the welcome page stories on AOL is about the threats against Obama on the rise since his election. The authorities state that this is the highest number of threats against any President elect ever. I think I can understand why. Barack Obama is a half black, liberal, gun hating, pro abortion horror show of a candidate. The items I pointed out pretty much signal why there is such a strong dislike in certain circles for this man.
Let’s break down the reasons for his dislike. Obama is half-black. This does not sit well with certain folks that think that they either will not be fairly represented by a black man or that just do not like blacks in general. Right or wrong they are entitled to dislike him because he is black. Obama is a liberal. Well, liberalism just means more work for the working folks while the lazy asses get to lay up, drop babies and drink 40’s on the front porch. This is of course while the working folks are working. Obama is pro-abortion. Killing the man for killing babies seems to be an oxymoron if you ask me, but some feel strongly about it. A liberal friend of mine said he was against the death penalty and abortion as well. He would protest the death penalty with the liberals and protest abortion clinics with the conservatives. Makes sense to me and I appreciate his stance. Obama is against gun ownership. This is the one that really gets to me. It gets me because I know that a society that is unarmed is a society that can easily be controlled by the government. Most of the sons of bitches we elect cannot run their own lives much less mine and 299,999,998 other folks. I say that I want my guns left alone, but I would not threaten Obama because of it. If someone comes to my door looking for my guns they will get the bullets as they exit the barrels of my guns.
I know this does not make sense to a lot of people and it does not make sense to me either. I would love nothing more than for Obama to fix what is wrong with this country. I do not think that he will fix our problems, but I am hanging on and giving him the chance. I know I write a lot of negative about Obama and I call him the anti-Christ, but that is mostly to suck in the readers. We shall see what happens and I pray to God that no one is stupid enough to try and kill Obama. That will probably send this country into a civil war and I have no desire to fight that war if it comes.

A while back I wrote a post about the churches being complicit with what is going on in society and goverment today. Finally someone in the Catholic Church has the guts to say it like it is. I thought that ALL churches were lost, but I guess there are some out there that still stand for the teachings of the church.
While I do appreciate this priest’s stance I do not believe he is on the right track. Abortion, while horrible, is only an issue that is used to sidetrack people. The real issue is sovereignty. One world government is the true enemy of the church and abortion is the decoy. Not only is abortion a decoy, but the black/Jew race and religion thing is another.
People are nothing more than cattle. They are lead to the place where the powers that be need them. The are told when and where to drink, eat and what to think. Add the economy and the media to the list as well. If you own the media then you own what is said in the media. The media just elected our President. How is that for power?
Until we realize what is going on we will continue to fail as a society. People must work and must pay taxes. That is the way of the world. What we must not do is blindly follow like sheep in a field. We are free to think and to learn. You can chose to listen to what the electronic box with lots of pretty pictures tells you or you can research something on your own. I know it takes some effort to research, but you will appreciate the knowledge gained that much more.

Priest Blasts Catholic Obama Voters
I usually do not report too much on Hollywood crap, but this one makes a great point. Lindsey Lohan, the sexually confused starlet, has called Barack Obama colored. Oh No! What are we to do? Now folks are debating if she is or is not a racist for using this term. Lohan was one of Obama’s most vocal supporters and look at how they throw her under the train for one remark. Who really cares if she called Obama colored? What difference in the world does it make if she calls him colored, half and half, mixed, black, brown, purple or freaking green? It makes no difference, but it just goes to show how quickly people will turn on you.
Blacks do not like whites and probably never will. I am not talking about individuals, but the collective. I could really care less if blacks think I am the “white devil” or anything else. I know who I am and what I stand for and that is all that really matters. One group’s acceptance of me does not shape my life or the actions I take.
I wonder if the liberals will ever realize that no matter how much they worship at the black altar they will never be accepted. We are from two different cultures and even though we can work together there will always be a barrier. No one ever said life was fair. Sorry to burst the bubble of you sensitive Peace and Justice types.

A Georgia Republican sure thinks so. I am inclined to think that Obama is the anti-Christ. I have a friend that thinks that Putin is the anti-Christ and Obama is one of his beasts.
I just question Obama’s rapid rise to power. Also his desire for the destruction of the 2nd Amendment makes one leery as well. If you take away the guns then you take away a nation’s ability to defend itself from the government. The 2nd Amendment was written to keep the would be dictators away.
What will happen over the next few years? I do not know, but I am scared that the economic worries have people’s focus away from the government. This will lead us down a path to the Dark Side. Just watch the Star Wars movies. Well, that was more like Bush’s term as President.

All of the ugly news may cloud the wonderful news of Sarah Palin wanting to run in 2012. As I have said before, she is a gun-toting psycho and I would love to see her run!!!!!
Palin Signals Interest in Presidential Run
My day began Saturday morning with a phone call from James Edwards giving me the secret location of the EURO Conference meeting in Memphis. James swore me to secrecy as to the location because of the threats against the organizer, Dr. David Duke and the previous facilities contracted to host the event. I found the whole thing quite surreal, and as I was driving to the Conference at around 3:30, it swept across me that in the Home of the Free, sweet Land of Liberty, I was on my way to meet with people who were having to meet in secret in order to exercise their rights of political expression. Why was I feeling like I was in the old Soviet Union, not America?
As I arrived at the hotel, I knew that the secret location was no longer secret as I parked next to the WMC-TV 5 van.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC-TV) - Dozens of people gathered for former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke’s EURO Conference at a Memphis hotel Saturday.
The conference is booked through Sunday at the Memphis Plaza Hotel on Shelby Oaks Drive near Bartlett.

I spoke with the cameraman for just a few moments and told him who I was, but all he really commented on was how many good-looking women were there [at the Conference] and how that surprised him. I think the first thing that strikes me about their reporting was that they said there were “dozens of people” at the event. Clearly this is deceptive, since although I could not give an exact accounting, the large meeting room I later entered was filled beyond capacity with standing-room only. I actually had to sit on the floor in the center aisle myself. Looking at the pictures I took, there looks like a dozen seats per row, and there were at least ten rows. So I would have to estimate between 120-150 people (seated) were attending the event, not “dozens”, and most likely more because there were “dozens of people” standing outside the room talking as I left. This leads me to believe other reports that the local media has been very biased in their reporting on the Conference.
I met a young lady as I was on my way in who was selling “White Pride” souvenirs for the all girl band that was providing the entertainment inside the meeting room.

I actually bought the picture that she is holding up for post-event interviews later on. It turned out to be a very useful tool in soliciting the opinions of blacks in my neighborhood done on my way home.
The meeting I attended briefly was a “closed door” event and I had a little trouble with the guy controlling the door because I did not have an event ID. It was not until James Edwards came over and cleared me that I was granted access. It happened that I arrived at a time when Duke was busy with his motel on the phone. It seems that he was being informed that he was once again getting kicked out of his hotel room. As soon as he got off the phone it was time for him to start the meeting and I unfortunately did not stay long enough to do a private interview for BCR, but I will try to do a telephone interview with him after this mess is over with.

I debated about how to cover Duke’s remarks without injecting my own commentary. I was allowed access not normally open to the media and I certainly do not wish to abuse the access, but I feel the best way to report this is just to allow BCR readers to hear it for themselves. I told James that I was recording the event and it was he who sent me down front so that I could get the audio, so hopefully I am not violating some kind of confidence in making it public. But after all of the media distortion, I feel it is important that BCR readers hear what was said in “secret” so that the white sheets and hoods are lifted for all to see. I personally hear no hate here, just genuine concern that the rights of the White race are being eroded and marginalized. With the reception the group has received here in Memphis, I would have to agree with that concern.
duke.mp3
After Duke made his remarks, I slipped out and went to gather some reaction from blacks in my own neighborhood. I went into the Walgreen’s store at Rhodes and Getwell which was rather full with a wide variety of my Black neighbors. Here I am, the only White boy in the store showing the picture below to a number of people to get their reaction to it and the EURO Conference.

Here is the audio from a couple of those individuals:
picture1.mp3
This gentleman was older and said that when he was younger, the picture might have offended him, but now that he was more mature, it did not bother him at all.
picture2.mp3
This woman (who was there with her teenage daughter) simply expressed that she was as “God made her” and that was her opinion on the matter. I agree with her and feel that each of us should simply thank God for who and what we are, and not marginalize how He has made others.
Amazingly, I found not one person who was offended by the photo or who suggested that the EURO group should not take pride in who they are. One young man working behind the counter spent most of the time just admiring the girls in the photograph without comment, but when pressed for his reaction he said, “…we all have to be proud of who we are!”
I have my own opinions on the race issue, but I don’t expect others to conform to the way I see things, and that is my problem with this whole affair. I have witnessed the attempt to silence political speech through intimidation and terror tactics and it angers me. I have seen first hand the local media distorting the truth and manipulating public opinion. Would President Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright have the same reception? What has become of the Country that I love so dearly? The First Amendment was deemed necessary to protect unpopular speech, because popular speech required no protections. Have we so soon forgotten the sacrifice that came before us, that we now deny the rights we cherish for ourselves to those we disagree with?
A sad day to be a Memphian. By the way, compare what Duke says to this. Now who is the hate group?
Update:
Newscoma has a slightly different take and seems to think that the Duke thing is “muddying the waters“. So I guess if you don’t like the speaker, or the topic, it is okay to threaten peoples lives and deny them service. They have no rights because you disagree with them. The issue is not that they are being targeted for their race, but for their political ideology.
And yes Newscoma, the meeting was being held in “secret” to the best it could be under the circumstances, but the location was leaked to the press by someone. I also get from the tone of her post that it makes a difference if I was at the meeting as a member of the audience or as a member of the media. Quite frankly, I am sick and tired of liberals like Newscoma telling me it is a problem if I was there as a member of the audience. Her attitude and the way it seems to be okay to terrorize those you disagree with has me ready to join up and order my own white sheet and hood. Not because I hate blacks, Jews or even liberals, but because I am not going to let anyone tell me what meeting I can and cannot go to. If you have a problem with their viewpoint, then debate it, don’t attempt to silence it.
And oh yeah, if you really want to post criminal records, give the lead terrorist in all of this a shot. Have you looked at Thaddeus Matthew’s criminal and civil violations rap sheet lately? I also really like the innuendo that I might somehow be a “racist” too. I’m getting so sick of this crap I could puke!
Update 2:
This seems to have become quite a controversial post across the State, so I figure I needed to clarify some points of contention. First, ANYONE can post a comment here at BCR, but they must register. Sorry, but I’ve had too many problems with malicious attacks on the site database through the comments venue and after losing 2500 posts, that is just how it has to be. Second, I believe Mediaverse has done an excellent job of documenting the media bias, so I will defer to that post for further on that aspect of the issue.
I am often convicted of being this-and-that because of my “associations”. I was labeled a “Muslim-lover” because I took the time to visit a local Mosque during Ramadan. I was accused of promoting Islamic propaganda because I dared post the prevailing Muslim view on the Iraq War. I have been called a “nigger-lover” because I take odds with Mike Fleming and others who think the Thaddeus Matthews blog should be brought under government control and strongly support his right to be the village idiot on the radio. And quite often I am labeled a “closet-racist” because I oppose the political correctness double-standard when it comes to racial issues. Did I also mention that I am a proud Son of the South with nothing but love for my Southern Heritage and values, including the Confederate battle flag?
Here is the problem folks. Like it or not, a lot of people are feeling left out of the political process nationally and are getting tired of being marginalized by the media as “hate-mongers” because they do not agree with the mainstream line-of-thought.
The Anti-Defamation League, a group that fights anti-Semitism and racism, released a report this week citing “a surprising and troubling resurgence” of KKK activity by long-standing and new groups. “They use this immigration issue to bring in others who feel like America is under siege,” says Deborah Lauter, the ADL’s national civil rights director. “It’s easy for hate to spread.”
The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups, also has charted an overall increase in KKK activity and says anti-immigrant sentiment is a primary driver, says Mark Potok, director of the center’s tracking operation. The number of KKK groups rose from 110 in 2000 to 179 in 2005 but fell to about 150 last year, Potok says. - WBIR
People like to use “hate” to define these groups, but I understand it as “fear”. This effort to silence them in Memphis only feeds the feeling of exclusion and the “fear”, resulting in feeding the very monster that some seek to destroy. If you push someone into a corner, sooner or later they will fight their way out.
Besides, I don’t qualify as a White Nationalist. President Obama and I have being a mutt in common.
Update 3:
I just watched the Eyewitness News segment on the EURO Conference. I was not aware of it at the time, but it was their cameraman in the photo above who graciously turned on his camera light for me to get my shot (gotta get a flash for my camera). They did a good job with their reporting.
Update 4 (11/11/2008):
Oh my, Thaddeus is really upset now….

Pastor Andre Guy now has a Thaddeus bulls-eye on his back because he dared to stand up for the EURO Conference’s rights. Thaddeus should really not throw out a person’s past so freely. Newscoma and he seem to think that character assassination is a tool that should be used against those whom you disagree with. Perhaps I should start digging up Thad’s colorful past again.
Update 5 (11/11/2008):
Why not? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander…

Details can be found at the Shelby County Court Clerks website. One glance at his criminal record demonstrates that Mr. Matthews is an excellent candidate for the threats of violence in Olive Branch, MS. Those threats crossed the line and a clear violation of the EURO Conference participants Civil Rights. They should also qualify under Federal Hate Crimes legislation. So where is the FBI? I have handed you a suspect on a silver platter, now do your job. Oh, that’s right, these are White Nationalists so they have no Civil Rights to violate.
It is one heck of a jump from ‘ having a choice’ to ‘being required’.
Not only does the first black man to reach the highest office redefine the ‘American Dream’ to include taking care of those who do not wish to actively persue that dream but President Elect Obama wishes to REQUIRE community service from our youth:
When you choose to serve — whether it’s your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood — you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That’s why it’s called the American dream.”
The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
I say we leave the compulsory community service to the convicted and leave free citizens with the right to choose.
I was hoping that the brainless drones such as Thaddeus Matthews would not go insane just because Obama won. I know Thaddeus cannot be very good at math so I will explain how Obama won. Obama was able to gather a large percentage of the WHITE vote in order to win. Is that simple enough for you Thaddeus?
Blacks are still a minority in this country with about 13-16% of the population. If they are 16% then that leaves 84% to be other races. Whites make up the vast majority of that 84%. The white population is about 400% more than the black population or maybe even more than that. Am I confusing you or is everything going well?
The actions of those like Thaddeus show that they do not want nor have ever desired equality. They want to subjugate the white race. This is simply about revenge for something that was over with 120 years ago. This is a pivotal point in our history. You can either get along with everyone and maybe we all can prosper or you can declare war on whites and I can guarantee where that will end up. Now is the time to pick your battles carefully and avoid a course of action that will ruin everything that has been gained over the last few decades.
Duke and gang have as much right to assemble as you do. I am sure that any hatred spewed there will not even come close to filth you spew on the air daily. You cannot deny a group their rights. Just look at the the Revolutionary War and Civil Rights. It goes both ways genius and I think that is a lesson you need to learn.

After being rejected in Olive Branch, David Duke plans to bring the EURO Conference to Memphis this weekend. Details are still sketchy, but here is what he has posted on his website:
He is having an important press conference on November 6 to announce that EURO participants will overcome the great obstacles put before them and will gather in Memphis to stand up for our rights and heritage. He has stated that he and the EURO participants will meet in Memphis and give voice to the issues that are vital to European Americans.
All that the Commercial Appeal has to say on the subject is this:
Management of Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center in Olive Branch originally said they felt contractually obligated to supply rooms for conference-goers Friday-Sunday.
They had been unaware of the nature of the conference when the contract was signed. On Election Day, however, Whispering Woods announced it would not provide accommodations.
Duke gives details that which I have not verified for myself, but if true presents a real problem for me.
Upon learning of the scheduled EURO Conference at the Whispering Woods Convention Center, radicals threatened to bomb the hotel. The manager as well as the lives of his wife and children were threatened. After these terrorist threats, the county Sheriff declared an official State of Emergency and the hotel canceled the hundred reserved rooms and the meeting facilities of the EURO conference were canceled just four days before the event.
I do not endorse or approve of David Duke’s approach to the growing political correctness movement which gives special rights to minorities at the expense of whites. I believe in equality and the right of every citizen to have and voice their own opinion. This whole affair would have been a minor footnote in the local news, except for idiots like Thaddeus Matthews who wish to deny others the same freedom of expression he earns his living by. Thaddeus is a black David Duke, and I approve of neither.
However, if I can, I plan to attend the EURO Conference this weekend once it’s location is made public. I am fed up with it being okay for all of these special interest groups having free reign, yet deny the same if the group happens to be white. Someone pass me a white sheet and hood.
Update:
David Duke will be here on Saturday. BCR will be there and I will be doing an interview with Mr. Duke. Unfortunately, because of threats of violence among the village idiots, the location is being kept secret for the moment.
It is sad that in America, citizens must meet in secret to discuss their ideas. I feel like I have fallen asleep and awoken in the Soviet Union or Hitler’s Germany. But this is one American who will not cower in fear…”Give me Liberty, or give me death!”
