ACTION ALERT! – HJR 108 Tennessee’s Sovereignty

Tennessee State Representative Susan M. Lynn has introduced a resolution, HJR0108 into the Tennessee State Legislature. The resolution in part asserts:

A RESOLUTION to affirm Tennessee’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and to demand the federal government halt its practice of assuming powers and of imposing mandates upon the states for purposes not enumerated by the Constitution of the United States.- HJR 108

Tennessean’s need to contact their representatives this week and ask that they act on this resolution. It is currently sitting in limbo in Nashville and your representative needs to hear from you.

This measure is similar to the one completed in Oklahoma recently and is currently being considered by many other States.
