Illegal Immigrant advocates will be protesting in at least 70 cities across the United States tomorrow in celebration of May Day.
Major demonstrations are to be held in 70 cities on May 1 to protest the new Arizona law to cope with an army of half a million illegal aliens now living there.
Since Gov. Jan Brewer signed that law a week ago, Arizona has been subjected to savage attack as the modern embodiment of Jim Crow, apartheid and Nazism. Few have risen in her defense. – PJB
BCR has learned that in Tennessee, Memphis will be the site for the protests. The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition is sponsoring the event, but has nothing listed on its website. However, it is discreetly informing its members to rally at the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis at noon Saturday.

Those interested in showing support for Arizona are encouraged to attend for a counter-protest.

Well of course Memphis. Wonder what kind of a turnout they expect? There’s not much room down there for a big crowd.
hopefully they all drown in the rain.
Got a boat?
I told everyone on Facebook not to come out for this due to the weather. Of course I just had to go. A few dozen ‘protesters’ showed up and I was under-whelmed.
