Today has been a frantic day for me. I’ve been working Facebook, Twitter and the telephone all day today communicating with people on the road to DC today. Some just called into work and said “Sorry, can’t come in today!” just so they could make the trip. BCR’s own Jimbo is on of those headed that way.
We learned early that the POTUS has called out the goon squad and ten bus loads of La Raza types hit the road from Tennessee alone. I’ve also gotten word that SEIU is in play. So the urgency today was to get as many people headed to DC as possible to back up our team. Even the local Congressional candidates have gotten involved with at least two hitting the road as well (Donn Janes and Bergmann).
Not everyone was able to dump everything to head up. I am one of those working folks who worked all night last night and has to work tonight. Dr. Flinn (R Candidate 8th District) has been working the phones today as well to encourage his contacts in the DC area to participate in tomorrow’s rally. So for those of us unable to head off to DC with no notice, there will be a rally at Congressman John Tanner’s office in Millington, TN at 2pm tomorrow.
I just don’t know where Congressman Tanner is going with this. His DC office phone has been busy all day, but I was able to contact his staff in Millington early in the afternoon and they assured me that he remained ‘undecided’. Later I got a report that he had moved to the ‘yes’ column. I attempted to reach his office in Millington for comment, but got this recording.

I can only surmise that Congressman Tanner is through talking about it. So, we need every voice we can get to join us in Millington or DC tomorrow to urge Congress to Kill the Bill.

Keep it up John! I have sent emails and called every body I know.
These “for sale” politicians (retiring or not)should be held accountable for their actions. Tanner should not be allowed to go into retirement in a peaceful manner if he votes “YES” on this healthcare fiasco!!!@
And after his nice little tv ads they have been running..tsk tsk tsk
