Morning News — December 9, 2009 #tcot

I have finally got the BCR Feeds back up and running so I thought a few news items to get our readers started might be in order.

Japan is reporting that “2000-2009 likely warmest decade on record” just in time for the junk science conference in Copenhagen.

The decade 2000-2009 “is very likely to be the warmest on record, warmer than the 1990s, than the 1980s and so on,” Jarraud told a news conference, holding a chart with a temperature curve pointing upward. The second warmest decade was the 1990s.

I guess no one told the Japanese that the “temperature curve“  is, saying it nicely, value-added.

Sensenbrenner wrote that “these bad actors” limited peer-reviewed studies used by the IPCC, which is leading the Copenhagen conference on climate change.

“Their behavior has caused grave damage to the public trust in climate science in general, and to the IPCC, in particular,” Sensenbrenner wrote. “They should not be allowed to do so in the future. I therefore request that you and the co-chairs of each of the three IPCC working groups ensure that none of the individuals involved in these nefarious e-mail exchanges participate as contributors, reviewers, or in any other capacity in the preparation of” the next IPCC report.

Sensenbrenner is just the latest lawmaker to jump into the fray over “Climategate,” a growing scandal over the release of thousands of e-mails written by global-warming scientists that show an effort to manipulate data and prevent publication of opposition research. More than 1,000 e-mails and 2,000 other documents from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in Great Britain were released just weeks ahead of the Copenhagen conference.

Of course Obama is circumventing Congress for these talks and treaties (against the Constitution) by pledging to use the EPA to enforce any agreements he might sign up for (who needs the Senate to ratify any agreement anyways). So, maybe that is why his numbers are tanking. Or maybe it is crap like this…

President Obama and the First Family were planning a “non-religious Christmas,” according to Social Secretary Desiree Rogers. Ms. Rogers reportedly told a gathering of former social secretaries that the Obamas did not intend on putting the Nativity scene on display – a longtime East Room tradition. – Atlas Shrugs

Maybe Wiseman was onto something after all. Of course right now, Obama is real jittery about accepting his Nobel peace prize and he is not alone.

For the first time in history, the Nobel Foundation announced a possible reduction of its prize amount. Due to financial losses the Foundation suffered because of the global crisis, luxurious ceremonies and banquets in Stockholm, 2009 laureates might be the last ones to receive $1.5 million. This year alone, the Nobel Foundation spent $17.5 million for the reception where President Obama is to receive his Nobel Peace Prize.

Of course, he does not have to worry about the indoctrination of our children, that continues with only a few minor snafu’s.

Pencils and notebooks resembling President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign ads have been sold in at least one Columbia school and other public schools, causing the company that distributes the materials to travel around the state yanking the supplies out of machines.

A lot more going on in the world this morning. I’ve added news feeds from across the globe and will be adding more in the days to come, so just hop over and hit the refresh button for the latest and greatest.

End of times? Are we being destroyed from within? Are Christians now the hunted? Muslims are getting priority these days. Why not a nativity scene at the White House? Why doesn’t Obama address his religious preference if he has any? TOOOO many questions unanswered. A man without a faith has nothing to lose and no one to answer to.
