I Do Not Get The Joke

Our fabulous President, Barack Obama, has won the Nobel Peace Prize. The part even more amazing than him receiving the prize was his nomination for the prize. He had to have been nominated less than two weeks after his presidency began. Please tell me what he could have possibly accomplished in that time period to propel him into the Nobel winner’s circle.

I must admit that I will probably never be objective where Obama is concerned since I feel his presidency was forced upon us by the media. Obama has not and will not accomplish anything during his presidency other than setting the record for the most talk-show appearances by any US President. President Obama has failed with every endeavor he has been involved in since being elected. Obama’s groveling at the feet of every world leader he has encountered has been a disgrace to the American public.

What does all of this say for the Nobel Peace Prize? Do you really have to accomplish anything to actually win the award or do people receive it just because they are who they are? I just do not know what they could possibly be thinking over in Nobelville. I guess it really is not my business since I am not part of the selection committee and should not affect too many of us in a negative manner. I do feel for the ones that lost the award to Obama since they probably have accomplished something worthy of being recognized by the Nobel committee.
