A Note From Chris Holley – Public Hearing On NAFTA Hwy Tonight In Memphis

Imagine every time you want to drive on the interstate you have to pay a toll. May I remind you that this will be sold off to a private corporation like they did in Texas and we will still foot the bill for road improvement in taxes.

They are proposing a toll road system(this is part of the bigger Arkansas-Tennessee River Crossing Project and bigger I-69 corridor, the link below) and they are having a meeting tomorrow night(The toll road on the bridge is just a small part of it). We really need you guys to attend. Even though they beat(for the moment) the Tennessee toll roads act, they are still continuing it as an individual project. Needless to say that this is part of the I-69 corridor project and the North American Union. They are holding a meeting tomorrow night. We believe that Tom Leather wood maybe attending.

Check out the part in this document:
Arkansas-Tennessee River Crossing Projects.–Th- conference agreement includes $1,000,000 to study the costs and benefits of constructing a bridge across the Mississippi River in the Memphis, Tennessee, metropolitan area. Within the amounts provided, the conferees expect that not less than $375,000 shall be used by the Great River Economic Development Foundation to study a potential 25-mile toll parkway from Osceola, Arkansas to Millington, Tennessee, including a new bridge across the Mississippi River.

Now, may I ask Mickey to explain to me why I-69 is a bad idea.

  • Jim Tomasik

    so where were you?

  • BCR

    Where was who????

  • ChrisHolley

I went to the hearing and I was the the only one I heard that opposed it! This is just another toll road scheme and I told them so. This was part of a $375,000 study called Arkanas-Tennessee River Crossings Project and they proposed a 25 mile toll road from Osceola, AR to Millington, TN. This is incrementalism to a toll system in Tennessee. Don’t believe me then check out there own document
“Toll System Feasibility Study: Mississippi River Bridge” http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tdot.state.tn.us%2FConsultantInfo%2Fvendorinfo%2Flongrange%2FMRBtollstudy030208.pdf&ei=hwKQSJmHFoie8QSlm4CnBw&usg=AFQjCNFIrKKa2Y06s9TdE4tFD6l2Xnb1LQ&sig2=HN4BaQmhdRAihGTxTPiPSg they even describe it as a “pilot toll project as a result of the recent Tennessee Toll Act”

This is even a bigger part of the I-69 corridor scheme which is coming here. Check out the link on the TDOT and they describe The NAFTA Superhighway

I can’t believe that people this the North American Union is a conspiracy. It is right before our face. It is even referenced several times in the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s website.

Just wait till 90 or more Mexican truck companies start coming over here with there ezpass cards to cross the border. They don’t even search the trucks! I thought all the neo-cons wanted “Homeland Security”?

I hope everyone wakes up to this very important issue. We are losing our sovereignty people!

  • Jim Tomasik

I was sitting a few seats in front of you, Chris. I appreciate your speaking up for what concerns you with regards to getting a new bridge.

I would like to make a small suggestion. You gave out a lot of information that probably went right over everyone’s head. No one could take in all of that at once. It might have been a little more productive to have printed out some fliers with detailed information.

I think we are in need of a new bridge for several reasons. I do not like toll roads at all.

The Mexican trucks need to be stopped at the Mexican border not in the middle of the United States. Whether or not a new Mississippi river bridge is in place will make no difference.

  • Holt

Agreed on the Mexican trucking. We can’t just let them drive across the border unchecked with no license or restrictions. And no more interstates running through Memphis. Damn. It already takes me 45 min to get the work

    Jim,
I agree 100%, but everyone that was supposed to help me and show up let me down. That is why we might lose the fight. I had to take off work and do the research in 1 day. Then when I ran by the office with minutes to spare I noticed the print server was down and did not have time to print anything. That is also why I was late.
I totally stayed away from the bigger agendas of what this all is. I instead focused only on the economics of toll roads and bridges.
The Tennessee Toll Road act and the Mississippi River Toll Bridge are part of the same agenda(Check the link to the study they did in my last post). It is interwoven with Nasco and that is interwoven with SPP Working groups and that is interwoven with UN Agenda 21 and that is why they call of of those project “Vision 21″ projects. It is what they have to sign on to when they use the State Infrastructure Banks, which is a federal program or federal loans\grants. They all have the same goal of “sustainable communities”. They are making it where everyone has to move into these compact areas around “corridors”.
I hate to sound like Alex Jones to people that don’t know me, but it is the truth.
I really wish some of you guys would help me research this and put this into a cohesive paper outlining it all with documentation. It is so huge in it’s scope. The sad part is if someone does the research it is all there. Very few will do it and fewer will be “The turd in the punch bowl” like I was and present it.

    S.O.S.
    Chris
