So other than the ‘Certificate of Live Birth’ (which is not a birth certificate) the only certified copy of Obama’s birth certificate in the public domain is from….Kenya????

Crooks and Liars is of course calling it a hoax.
There’s just one teensy little problem here — The Republic of Kenya didn’t exist until 1964 — three years after Obama’s birth.
This is partly true, and a quick check of Wikipedia states the following.
The first direct elections for Africans to the Legislative Council took place in 1957. Despite British hopes of handing power to “moderate” African rivals, it was the Kenya African National Union (KANU) of Jomo Kenyatta that formed a government shortly before Kenya became independent on 12 December 1963.
However, this is a certified copy of the birth record issued on February 17, 1964 AFTER Kenya became a free republic. The index number at the top is 495 indicating that a fairly low number of copies issued which would be consistent with a very near in time national identity (~3 months).
Crooks and Liars also point to the birth announcement placed in the local paper.
However, the birth announcement does not confirm that he was born in Hawaii and could have just as easily been placed in the paper by his grandparents who lived in Hawaii at the time. Yes, a short form ‘certificate of live birth’ has been released from Hawaii, but keep in mind that Hawaii had just entered the Union in 1959 and ANY birth could have been registered in Hawaii (even by the grandparents). That is why the actual long form of the birth certificate has been requested which records the actual location of his birth. So far, Obama has spent millions of dollars to keep the long form sealed.
Again, I don’t know if the Kenyan birth certificate is a hoax or not. However, the objections of Crooks and Liars tend to validate it rather than prove it was a hoax. It is a certified copy issued after Kenya was a free Republic. It even makes sense that his father would have wanted a copy after the national identity change. That is why the current motion in U.S. Court is an important step in finding out one way or the other.
We are not this lucky. Having Obama out of office before his unhealth care plan is passed would be a blessing. Have you heard the latest news about a tax increase for the middle class to pay for the plan? Just reported on News Channel 3 here in Memphis. I am damn tired of taxes.
I’m not sure where this bc came from. I am suspicious because most paper 40+ years old tends to turn yellowish. However, I’ll reserve judgement until it is verified in Court.

QUESTION:
What happens to Judge Sotomayor’s confirmation as Supreme Court Justice if the Constitution’s “natural born citizen” Presidential eligibility requirement is subsequently determined applicable to Barack Obama on the basis of Article 2’s exclusion of dual citizenship birth (doesn’t matter whether Obama born in Hawaii since his dad was Kenyan/British citizen at the time)? It would seem prudent, if not dereliction of Constitutional duty in not so doing, for the United States Senate to defer voting on Judge Sotomayor’s confirmation at the very least until there is determination, now imminent, on standing in Kerchner v. Congress (USDC NJ) on that precise issue (Congressional failure to take up the raised and known constitutional ineligibility question prior to declaring a Presidential winner in the vote of the electoral college). For the full Senate now to proceed to vote to confirm Judge Sotomayor (an otherwise lifetime appointment) before then, would be a knowing and very substantial exacerbation of any inherent Constitutional crisis — compounding the previous Congressional dereliction. That is, the Executive Branch, as well as conceivably all actions of a Congress under a President determined ineligible, would leave the Supreme Court as an essential unfettered remaining Branch of the Federal Government, that is unfettered so long as Mr. Obama’s appointment to the Court is not yet confirmed by the Senate.
Will not one Senator, let alone Republican Senator, raise this issue on the Senate floor? The nation is watching.

This document is a fake or this would have been aired out before the election. I wish it was real and we were rid of this Obamanation.
It may or may not be a fake. I don’t know and that is what they are attempting to discover in Court. I hope it is fake. I don’t want Obama impeached, because then we have Biden. I certainly don’ want the election nullified and Pelosi as President. Contrary to what some libs may think, I don’t want anything to happen to Obama before his term is complete. I just want his policies blocked and minimize the damage he might do in the remaining 3 1/2 years.
If the birthers can raise enough doubt in people’s minds, he may not get re-elected.
