Loading ...Since the attack and shootings against an Army-Navy recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas which resulted in the death of one soldier and wounding of another by a Muslim extremist, I have been patiently awaiting a statement from the leading Islamic organization in America, CAIR. Right after the shooting of Dr. Tiller, Christian pro-Life organizations released statements condemning his murder and denouncing violence in the pursuit of their cause. I expected that CAIR (or any Islamic organization) would do something similar when a Muslim practiced murder in the name of Islam.
On 6/10/2009, CAIR issued the following statement….
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/10/09) – A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today condemned a shooting incident at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., during which a security guard and the alleged gunman were reportedly wounded.
I looked through their archive of press releases, but I can’t find the one related to the Little Rock shootings. I did however find this one also released Wednesday.
Local Muslim organizations disagreed Tuesday with FBI Director Robert Mueller’s assertion that relations between the groups and the agency are “very good.”
Despite continued concerns from Muslim organizations about the FBI’s use of informants and surveillance in U.S. mosques, Mueller defended the agency’s investigative tactics and described the FBI’s relationship with Muslim organizations as mostly positive.
In this release CAIR suggests that the FBI is responsible for radicalizing American Muslims. “However, the issue here involves provocateurs who are sent into peaceful places of worship to entrap law-abiding Muslims and radicalize them.”
So, lets put this in context. Not only has CAIR (nor his local mosque) not condemned the Little Rock shootings done in the name of Islam, they blame the radicalization of American Muslims on the FBI. Oh, but they did condemn the Holocaust Museum shootings done by a white supremacist nut-job.

Islam is just one of the irrational religions that are proud of their lineage to Abraham, the nut-job would-be child killer who heard voices telling him to kill his son. (Christianity and Judaism are the others). When will people wake up and see that all these religions gain their power from claiming that some men have special relationships with god, and speak for god to the rest of us. High priests and prophets, and all the ills that come from support of and belief in them, are a problem humans have brought with them from primitive times to the present.
I am not convinced by the claims of any prophets. An all-powerful god certainly would have the resources to speak to each of us, and if he commanded us not to kill, would never than ask one to kill one’ son.

God did not say “Thou Shalt Not Kill” – it’s “MURDER” that is forbidden. You need to stop listening to “new and revised” copies of the Bible (or Torah) and read what was written and translated.
God demanded of Abraham to INTEND to kill his son. If you want to know WHY, read Genesis. It was a showing of his willingness to lose his only son, one that he’d waited almost 100 years for. And it was a precursor to how God DID sacrifice Jesus.

As to Muslims and Mohammed – you really need to read up on Islam. Mohammed was a child sexing pervert. He married Aisha at 6YO. 1. It’s Israel and kowtow.
2. I translate “desert nomads” to mean “Saudi Arabia” and every president since (but excepting) Carter has knelt at their shrine. You can’t get elected in the US if you cause the price of oil to go up, which requires fellating our suppliers.
3. The war in Iraq makes sense from a Machiavellian point of view if you think of it as a war to gain access to the second-largest petroleum reserves in the world. From a realpolitik perspective Bush/Cheney get failing grades for incompetence (we don’t have the oil, do we?); from an ethical one they get jail, if we want to pretend this country is really about the rule of law.
Folks, it’s not right vs. left, gay vs. straight, or even Muslim vs. Christian: it’s corporate interests vs. the people. Get a grip.
