I have put off writing on this subject for awhile, hoping it would die down a little, but I guess the story is not going away so here is my obligatory post on the subject.
It all started when Playboy posted a list of conservative women entitled “So Right, It’s Wrong” on June 1st. The list is reprinted below.
1. Michelle Malkin.
2. Megyn Kelly.
3. Mary Katharine Ham.
4. Amanda Carpenter.
5. Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
6. Dana Perino.
7. Laura Ingraham.
8. Pamela Geller.
9. Michele Bachmann.
10. Peggy Noonan.
Things heated up when Politico’s Anne Schroeder Mullins thought the list was funny and reprinted it at Politico on June 2nd. Both sites have been taken down, but Gateway Pundit has archived copies. Michelle Malkin, who tops the list obviously took offense at some of the comments about her on the Playboy site.
This highly f#@kable Filiina is a massively popular blogger who is known to dress up like a cheerleader on occasion (see video). She’s also a regular on Fox News, where her tight body and get-off-my-lawn stare just….
The Hate F@#k Rating: Worse than f#@king Eva Braun.
Megyn Kelly also took offense at the postings.
I have not picked up a copy of Playboy in decades, but when I did it was for the excellent articles (yeah right). However, knowing what Playboy is all about, and from the context that I have seen thus far, it was not promoting violence against women. No, it was promoting pure lust and fantasy about doing some rather attractive and sexy women that liberals hate. Yes, it was demeaning towards women and in bad taste, but that is what Playboy is all about.
Now I could be PC and say something like, “oh how disgusting and wrong this all is”, but I won’t. I personally think the whole affair is blown out-of-proportion and given Playboy more publicity than it deserves. I put it in the same category as Don Imus’s “nappy headed ho’s” comment. There is not one red blooded male reading this that would not agree that politics aside, the women on the list are some fine looking sexy women. The male make-up will look at one of those women and at some point make an assessment of her, well you know what I mean, and have some fleeting fantasy along the lines of what Playboy articulated. Women reading this, I invite you to watch your husband, boyfriend, or any guy of the heterosexual variety as an attractive woman walks by. Did you catch that fraction of a second look he just gave her? Well, he was doing exactly what I just said.
In most healthy males though, we keep such things either to ourselves or if we are with a group of other men we may make some off-color comments about our observations. But that is usually the end of it. Those of us who are married or otherwise attached will simply focus our thought processes elsewhere. All of this hoopla is only serving to drive more interest in Playboy. For the past few days, “playboy conservative women” has been one of the top internet search phrases. Why? Because of a bunch of perverted men thinking they might catch a glimpse of Michelle Malkin in a nightie or something.
If you are offended, then definitely express your opinion, but please don’t try to make it into something it was not. I saw nothing indicating that Playboy was promoting rape or violence against women. No, all I see is them promoting the same old trash they always do, and yes that is demeaning to women and treating them as sex objects.

Conservative women are HOT! Just imagine the justified ‘Liberal’ outrage if say, ‘Hustler’ Magazine ran a disgusting parody where Rush, Hannity, Beck, Savage and Ann Coulter gang-raped and tickle-tortured Katie Couric, and then Nancy Pelosi.
Imagine. The outrage would last for months in the MSM. There would be calls for firings and boycotts. NOW would be apoplectic. Poor little outraged, hypocritical Libs.

absurd thought –
God of the Universe says
joke about raping women
if they are conservative
EVIL freedom lovers…

absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
always rape women…
who are conservative
they’re just gender traitors

You just painted a mental picture that will haunt my nightmares for weeks…thanks
John, I think the phrase was “HATE F$#* (sex)” which is violence against women. Playboy isn’t portraying the conservative women as sex objects rather “RAPE” victims by liberal pea brains. I do not object to Playboy, but I do object to the context of this particular article on women who prefer not to be objectified.
I guess I am just reading it differently. From the cache copy I saw, it was refering to political harmony via sex with girls who’s ideology you hate. Without that context, I can see how you are reading it as well.
Anyways, my point is, all of this hoopla is only going to make Playboy more money…they are loving the attention. Sells mags

Of course Playboy will make money and FOX news will get even more viewers because the WOMEN of FOX are not only brilliant but beautiful as well.
