I watched a few minutes of the One’s speech in Cairo this morning. I was impressed, not by the content of what he said, but how he said it. The man can shovel the manure better than anyone I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the BCR equivalents in Israel are not in a manure handling mood right now.
Chanting “No, you can’t!” and waving signs bearing messages in a similar vein, nearly 200 people held a demonstration outside the US Consulate on the capital’s Rehov Agron on Wednesday evening, protesting the growing American pressure to stop construction in West Bank settlements. – Jerusalem Post
It also does not seem that Iran was impressed either….
TEHRAN (Reuters) – Iran’s supreme leader said on Thursday the United States was deeply hated in the Middle East and told U.S. President Barack Obama that “beautiful” speeches alone would not improve its image in the Muslim world.
Oh well, back to the U.S. now and being a Christian again.
