The Silence Is Deafening
Yesterday, the Taliban attacked two American soldiers in the heartland of America and yet the media is silent. What the heck is going on? Last night I listened to the talking heads talking about the murder of Dr. Tiller, but very few mentions of our soldiers who where shot down in a parking lot. I worked late into the evening last night tracking down what few details I could on Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, better known as Carlos Leon Bledsoe of Little Rock, Arkansas. Here is a summary of what I was able to learn.
Carlos works for Twin City Tours, a family owned business with a counterpart, Blues City Tours in Memphis owned by his father Melvin Bledsoe. Whois lists Linda Bledsoe as the administrative contact for both company websites.

At some point, Carlos Bledsoe converted to Islam and began traveling to Yemen. He adopted the Muslim name of a Taliban political leader who once served as the UN liaison for the Taliban and was last known to be living along the Pakistan border in Afghanistan. According to the FBI, they had already begun an ‘investigation’ prior to the shootings into Carlos’s activities.
This is obviously a very big story with much more to it than is being reported. Carlos Blesdoe carried out what Taliban leader Baituallah Mehsud claimed they would be doing back in April of 2009, hitting us on our own soil via American converts. But I guess Tiller the baby killer is a bigger news story to our media than our young soldiers being shot down at home. Sad, but we here at BCR will keep digging.

I offer my take —
Evidently, there is a double standard with Obama, –
He’s outraged over abortion Dr.’s death and has Holder to send US Marshals to provide protection to abortion clinics and planned parenthood facilities, but when it comes to our military, he is silent only to say “it’s an isoldated incident”. No offers to condolence to the families according to this — and I wonder if military recruitment centers will now have US Marshal protection.

‘Those wondering how long it would take for the first act of terrorism to be perpetrated on American soil under President Barack Obama did not have to wait long. The murder of a U.S. military recruiter by a Muslim convert in Arkansas yesterday marks the return of the war on terror to America after just four months of the new Administration’s systematic dismantling of the policies and programs that kept the nation safe for over seven years under the Bush Administration.
Some may take issue with that characterization, noting the slaying of abortionist George Tiller by an apparently militant domestic terrorist on Sunday. President Obama certainly was quick to condemn that killing; and his Administration quick to take action to protect other abortion providers. Tiller’s murderer, though a cold-blooded killer, is not a terrorist of the kind that the United States has been fighting since the September 11th attacks. If every murderer were a terrorist, the United States would have to invade most liberal-run cities to put down the violence.
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, formerly Carlos Bledsoe, is, however, exactly the kind of terrorist that has been prevented from carrying out acts of violence against Americans, until now. Still, the president has not made a statement about the killing.
Obama has not expressed “shock and outrage;” has not offered condolences to Pvt. William A. Long’s family or Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, the other soldier injured in the attack; and has not expressed the nation’s resolve – to say nothing of his Administration’s – to continue to fight radical Islamic terrorists wherever they may be found.
To Obama, the Arkansas shooting was an isolated incident carried out by a deranged individual. It was not part of a worldwide effort to kill Americans with the aim of bringing the country to its knees. Indeed, the Administration cannot allow the attack to be viewed as such – even though we know that Muhammad was radicalized in prison, trained in Yemen, and was upset about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – lest Obama bear some responsibility for watering down the programs that could have prevented it.’
