Jones County MS Don’t Like Radical Extremists With Ron Paul Stickers

Some fine outstanding ‘radical extremists’ were passing through Mississippi today and ended up in the Jones County Jail. The three individuals who are tonight spending the night in the Jones County Hilton are:

Adam Mueller – Disorderly Conduct and Disobeying an Officer
Pete Eyre – Possession of a Beer in a Dry County, Possession of a firearm across state lines
Jason Talley – Disorderly Conduct, Disobeying, and Resisting Arrest

Most of the news on this is coming from Twitter, so many of the details will have to wait for them to get out of jail and give an accounting. The three were on a motor home tour of the country they call “Searching for Freedom in America”. There is a website, The Motorhome Diaries that covers their adventure in detail. They were scheduled to be in Nashville this evening for an event.

The men are Libertarians and obviously big Ron Paul fans. Here is what I know.

“We are in Jones County MS and @adammueller has been arrested for filming cops after they pulled us over.”

 

Now I know I have just one photograph to go by, but it does not look like a lot of resisting going on. Later information from Free Keene:

…bonds have been set in the amounts of $1,000 each for Pete and Adam and $1,500 for Jason. Apparently jail is not an option for sentencing of these misdemeanors, unless of course the MHD boys refuse to pay the fines.

I guess the Mississippi boys don’t like Gadsden flags. I see no traffic charges, so I am very curious what the probable cause for the original traffic stop was.
