Loading ...Well I got my ‘Tom Leatherwood for Congress’ flyer and letter in the U.S.P.S mail today. I have read his letter and look over his flyer. And I was right in my previous post, Same old Same old. It appears that Mr. Leatherwood is wanting to make tax cuts permanent and lower them; he wants to simplify the tax code; he wants to implement CONSERVATIVE spending; he will support changing our Constitution for pro-life and marriage; He wants to win the war on terror abroad and protect our citizens at home; he wants to secure our boarders and enforce immigration laws; and of course, he wants to protect our 2nd amendment rights…Â
Man where do we start???? Now doesn’t this sound exactly like Marsha Blackburn,… I mean where is the difference? Mr. Leatherwood even says in his letter that he wants to stop earmarks and pork-barrel spending… Now wait just a second, Marsha “Queen of Pork” Blackburn just came out with a letter stating that she will have no earmarks in the 2009 budget…. (Marsha Marsha Marsha, why did it take you SIX Years?)   Now back to Tom Leatherwood, lets see… he wants to simplify the tax code, Hey Tom, when I ran for the 7th district seat, I proposed NO FEDERAL TAXES, … why didn’t he think of that??? And while you implement ‘conservative’ spending, remember that Marsha “Queen of Pork” Blackburn says she is Conservative… I got news for Tom and Marsha, Conservative Spending … that might just be an oxymoron. And Tom Leatherwood supports the war, now how is that different from Marsha “Queen of Pork” Blackburn??  Hey Tom, when I ran for the 7th district seat, I proposed to Bring our troop Home NOW and no more UnConstitutional wars…. Â

Tom, I have nothing against you (nor even Marsha for that matter), but come on guys, The GOP is about Freedom, Liberty, and Law …. when you all support the Constitution, give me a call.
ps maybe some independent will run, the GOP is missing the boat in the 7th
