Terror In Binghampton

I have been holding off on commenting on the NY shootings until more facts are in, but this is an interesting twist if true.

“I accept responsibility. They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks”, Pakistani Taliban chief Baituallah Mehsud said.

Pakistani Taliban militant leader Baituallah Mehsud claimed on Saturday responsibility for an attack on a U.S. immigration centre in New York state in which 13 people were killed.

“I accept responsibility. They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks,” Mehsud told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.

Very little in the way of details is known about the shooter. Yesterday we were told he was armed with a rifle, and today it was two handguns. Yesterday it was Jiverly Voong, a laid off IBM worker. Today, his sister says he did not own a gun, and reports say he never worked for IBM. I think more facts need to come in before I comment further.

Regardless, it was a brutal attack on those who were the kind of new American’s we like to see. Texas Fred pretty much sums up my own thoughts.

There is still a lot of confusion in the MSM, they are trying to sort out the facts, and one source is saying that Voong is of Vietnamese decent. That itself presents a reasonable question, was Voong a LEGAL citizen of the USA? Was he perhaps a disgruntled seeker of citizenship? At the moment it’s all speculation, I am sure the facts will come out in the next few days.

There is one thing that IS a certainty, the gun grabbers will try to turn this into an anti-guns rant and use it as another tool in their battle to take guns out of the hands of legal, sane and responsible Americans!

I have been ridiculed by a few for MY stance on shooting ILLEGAL INVADERS as they cross the border, nothing in this has changed my opinion of ILLEGALS. These folks were immigrants, NOT invaders, they were trying to do the right thing.

Update: An ominous threat….

The chief of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan warned that “such attacks would continue” to avenge missile strikes by US drones in tribal areas and “brutalities in Palestine.”

Mehsud also pointed out that he had said a few days ago that his militants would carry out attacks on American soil.

Of the major news networks, only FOX is reporting on this. CNN and Reuters seem to be ignoring this aspect of the story, and I had to go outside of the US to get the last part (even FOX doesn’t want people to know that he says more are coming). I guess they are not ready to give up on the crazy guy with a gun who proves the 2nd Amendment should be done away with. If this report is true, then lock-and-load patriots, it is about to get fun.
